We took the 5-day tour from Luxor to Aswan We took the 5-day tour from Luxor to Aswan. Our driver in Luxor was late and arrived about 30 minutes behind schedule, but apart from that, everything went smoothly during our stay. For the first two days, our guide Mina took us to all the sites in Luxor and back by car. We have absolutely no complaints, even though the hot air balloon ride was cancelled due to strong winds. Mina was the best guide we could have asked for: very knowledgeable, funny, never overwhelmed us with unnecessary information, and always happy to accommodate our requests. Our cruise ship was the Mahrousa. The crew was excellent, the cabin was simple but comfortable, and the ship itself was wonderful. The sundeck has a swimming pool, the food was varied, and the service staff were attentive, friendly, and always smiling. At the end of the cruise, it is best to place the tips in an envelope and leave it in the box at reception. One negative point was that our guide did not join us in Edfu, so we had to arrange the temple visit on our own. After that, everything went well again. Essam in Kom Ombo and Omar in Aswan were both excellent guides and great company. You need to be patient, as guides often appear or contact you on WhatsApp at the last minute. You will not know much in advance about what is going to happen, but you can be confident that almost everything will work out in the end.

Atentos y resolutivos. Tuvimos un problema con otra compañía, contactamos con ellos y fue un acierto. Nos ayudaron en todo momento para poder hacer el crucero desde el minuto uno. Darle las gracias de nuevo a Mina, muy resolutivo y atento con cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. Gracias por escucharnos y ayudarnos. Súper agradecidos a nuestro guía en Luxor, Carlos. Un profesional que le gusta su trabajo, da gusto encontrarse con personas así. La comida muy rica, habitaciones limpias y personal muy amable y servicial. Family trip to Egypt Was impressed from start to finish, received an intro text the day before we flew into Aswan. Was picked up and taken to the boat ready for an afternoon visit to a temple. The Boat was great, had wondered what to expect but really pleased. Clean, tidy and good food. The following 3 days of seeing and experiencing the history of Egypt was beyond our imagination. Weather was kind at 30+ (was 40+ the week before🥵). Mina, our guide for the week kept us on track and provided the detail with the history of Egypt, its gods and kings. Major highlight of our Egypt trip Really enjoyed our guide, King Mina, who took great care of everyone, offered a wealth of knowledge on all the historic sites visited, and brought a fantastic energy to the experience. Normally we never do guided tours or anything, but we were very glad we did this time. It was all very smooth and definitely beats navigating the logistics independently, which we feel would have been chaotic and overwhelming here. The rest of the cruise - service, food, etc. - was also excellent. Extras on board (mainly drinks) were really expensive, though, so be prepared to bring your own. Did not appreciate the photographer trying to sell us a photo for $50 USD. Also the math did not quite check out for the amount they charged us for the entrance fees (not included), which was a bit annoying. However, overall we had a smooth and rewarding experience. Muy bien Nuestro tour estuvo bastante bien, no tenía expectativas y estuvo sorprendentemente bien. Lo mejor del tour fue nuestro guía King Mina que se veía que tenía mucha experiencia y con conocimiento de todos los lugares que nos llevó. Además siempre fue súper amable y atento.

Great cruise King Mina is a legend! Super knowledgeable about Egyptian history, and very welcoming host. The boat was very nice, cleaned daily and the food was great. Just one thing to note the tip for boat staff, guides, drivers etc isn't just a recommendation it's a set amount you pay on the first day of the cruise ($10 dollars a day). Excelente tour, King Mina fue el mejor! King Mina fue el mejor guía que tuvimos en todo Egipto, fue muy amable y siempre estuvo atento en que todo estuviéramos bien y cómodos. Además sabe mucho sobre el tema y lo explica muy bien. Definitivamente volvería a reservar este tour. Sobre el barco me sorprendió gratamente el servicio y las inhalaciones.
